Gaming/UI
Along side movies and comics, games are one of my major passions in life that inspire me greatly. They are different than other forms of media as they allow you to interact with the narrative and thus giving you a different sense of engagement (intentionally deeper than other forms of story telling mediums)
Kobushi [Game Preview]
Kobushi was a fantastically well received original game within events such as ICE. I gave art direction, helped with animation and game features along with the UI of the game and bonus games involved.
I worked with fantastic artists from Zagtoon (Paris, France) and built a great relationship with them during this project.
Red Dragon [Game Preview]
Yes you guessed it, its a Bruce Lee game…oh no I mean its Red Dragon!
A successful game I art directed with a team of designers and developers. Along side art direction and project management, I also helped with the art, animation and the game mechanics along with the initial ideas and concepts of the game.
Kobushi [Mobile Game Preview]
Like many games, there is a desktop and mobile version, which ultimately have to be different due to the difference in the capabilites and coding that is required.
Here is a mobile example test video of the Kobushi game, made for mobile IOS
Crazy Slots [Web Design]
Here is an example of a web design interface I made.
Web design is not something I normally do (If at all) but it was fun and challenging to play with the creative obstacles placed by HTML5
Lady Bug [Game Preview]
Lady Bug (Now on Netflix) was the largest scope game I was involved with during my time at GIMO. In this example I art directed the game from start to finish. Working with Zagtoon art team, It was a fantastic project and extremely proud of the extend of work that went behind this game.
Blackjack [Mobile Game Preview]
A Blackjack Mobile game, designed by me to give a comfortable feel in the hands of players.
I introduce finger swipe actions as well as normal touch screen controls for players.
Rango [Game Preview]
Sometimes you get a good license and a chance to work on beloved characters and pop culture icons. Rango (Johnny Depp) was one of those times.
Again I gave art direction for the interface, game play mechanics, created the features as well as aided with the art while working along side developers and designers.
